I have to admit that I have not accomplish my goal of teaching my two children Oshiwambo. It is my responsibility as a mother to teach my children their mother tongue. My son is almost 7 years, and my daughter is 3 years old. All my son knows is greetings in Oshiwambo few animal names, and few objects. My daughter on the other hand knows a lot of objects and animal names, and can put up to three words together. But my goal is that they can both communicate well in their mother tongue. As of this week I decided to put much efforts to helping this dream a reality.
